Élections Partielles 2006
Le 9 novembre dernier, le gouvernement a annoncé la tenue d’élection partielle dans la région de Montréal. Le Parti vert du Québec est fier d’annoncer que Christopher Coggan sera candidat pour les élections complémentaires dans Outremont. M. Coggan a lancé sa campagne avec enthousiasme et espère obtenir le soutien des citoyens de Outremont, de Côte-des-Neiges et du Mile-End. Le 10 Avril prochain, appuyez le Parti Vert en grand nombre. Well, I'm trying to be as cosmopolitan as possible. My last post was in english and portuguese, two full versions of the same post.
But, french is very similar to portuguese, specially in the written form. Both are latin languages. You will se that my english sux, and my french is not all that good, but its worth the attempt:

O partido verde de Quebec tem o prazer (fier) de anuciar que Chirstopher Coggan será candidato para as eleições complementares de Outremont (place i guess). M. Coggan irá lançar sua campanha com entusiasmo e espera obter o soutien (support, in portuguese this word looks pretty much like bra - that woman's piece of cloth) dos cidadãos de Outremont, de Côte-des-Neiges (place) e de Mile-End. No próximo 10 de Abril, apoie o grande nome do Partido Verde. Boa sorte Christopher!"
I only had to translated with babelfish 2 words: dernier and prochain. All the other words were very similar to the portuguese words I'm used to and it was not really difficult to understand its meanings.
Well, I'm very happy that you support Le Parti Vert (O Partido Verde - PV - in portuguese). I'm also thinking about support such party in my country. (:
